It's back! We had so much fun solving puzzles and learning together in last year, we'll be getting together for Advent of Code 2019.

AoC is a project created by Eric Wastl; each year during the month of December, puzzles are listed on the AoC website (https://adventofcode.com/). A new puzzle is listed each day of the month and requires code to solve (actually any language will work--but we especially love Python!). Puzzles are created for a variety of skill levels and are perfect for challenging yourself, others, or collaborating together to solve.

We'll be hosting these sessions on Saturday afternoons in December at the Madison Public Library. This is a great opportunity to learn (or start learning Python!) and meet others, and work together. No prior Python or coding knowledge is required and help will be available as needed. If you've been coding for years, it's also a great opportunity to brush up on your skills and learn something new or a new way of doing things.

Our second session will be Saturday, December 14th at 1:00pm. Though the Meetup is listed from 1-3pm, the time slot is flexible--feel free to come and go as you please. Please bring your own laptop to this Meetup. Wifi is available at the library.

Hope to see you there!
