HTB Meetup Vancouver #4 - The Anatomy of a Shell

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Saying 'I'm in' sounds great in the movies, but in the real world, you're going to need a shell first. Join us for our next meetup, where we’ll dive into the anatomy of a shell.

After the presentation, it’s time to get hands-on! We’ll jump into a HTB machine as a way to play with shells ourselves.

ARE YOU A BEGINNER?
We all begin somewhere, and you don’t have to do it alone. Come along, meet a welcoming community, learn by doing, and start your journey with people who are happy to help and share what they know.

WHAT DO I NEED?
A computer, an internet connection, and some electricity. You will also need a virtual machine, but don’t worry, the setup steps and links are just below. Please create a Hack The Box account before the session, and you’ll be ready to go.

VIRTUAL MACHINE SETUP
We recommend setting up your virtual machine before the meetup so we can spend more time working on the dedicated machines together. If possible, please follow the instruction video below in advance. We are happy to help with setup on the day, but we ask that you try to download the required software and operating system beforehand.
