On Monday morning, grab your tea or coffee and click on that link here to get to the Zoom meeting. Sit back, enjoy seeing familiar faces we've been missing, and catch up online. If you don't want to be seen on screen you have the option to just speak (audio only), without your video turned on. • Virtual Online Thursday Morning Video Drop-in

    Online event

Since we can't meet in person, we are now meeting via video conference using an application called ZOOM. This is a great opportunity for us seniors to learn a new technology. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and have fun. You'll enjoy seeing familiar faces that we've been missing since the lockdown went into effect. If you don't want to be seen on screen you also have the option to speak without your video turned on. The attendance limit is 30 at one time, but people will probably come and go, so you can check back from time to time to see if you can chime in. For those who have not used Zoom before, we would suggest you log on 10-15 minutes early to familiarize yourselves with the application. You do not need a password. When you RSVP to this invitation the link for the meeting will appear on the right side of this page. Click on the link and complete the login. You will then be admitted to the group conference. If for some reason you are asked what the Meeting ID is, this is the number:[masked] See you on the computer!

  • Managing Your Meds

    Online event

Casey Baldwin, Senior Care Pharmacist and MEDS Coordinator at Resources for Seniors, and Clinical Assistant Professor, Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, will speak on how to manage all those pills we all take on a daily basis. She has addressed our group once before, and our folks found her so interesting we decided to ask her back for another presentation. She will happily address all our questions during her talk, and there will be a Q&A when she has finished. Maybe we can ask her about the efficacy of Hydroxichloroquine!
