Don Horsley County Park
Lets have a 2nd week at this lovely new park that provides many painting options from the parking lot and from various viewing areas. You can reach the beach via a steep road that may be challenging with painting gear. The road is initially paved but becomes gravel for most of its length. This park has an amazing beach, lovely wildflowers, a beautiful creek and stunning views. The view looking up Tunitas Creek canyon from the beach is exceptionally pretty but it does require a 20 minute walk down a steep hill and then on very soft sand.
Parking
Parking is free and I have had no issues parking during the week.
Restrooms
Located down the steep road that leads to the beach and a 5 to 10 minute walk from the parking lot.
