We will meet at the trailhead of Marshall Hampton Reserve to step out on the trail at 9am sharp. Please arrive around 8:30am to sign in and meet your hike leader. This is a hike, not a walk, not a run. My pace is 2 - 2.5 mph. We will hike to the bridge, enjoying seeing a variety of birds and as always, alligators. The traihead has moved. It use to be on the corner of Winter Lake Rd & Thornhill Rd. Continue 1/2 mile farther down Thornhill. It is the first paved road immediately after you go under the Polk Parkway. There is a port-a-potty at the trailhead.

*make sure you bring at least 1 liter (quart) of water, hat, snacks and wear hiking shoes or boots. You must be in excellent physical condition as there are no take out points, however this is a flat and hopefully completely dry hike, in the full sun.

You do not have to be a member of the FTA to attend this hike, as it is open to the public.
