Check out our new hiking bridges on the blue trail, before the chapter meeting

The blue loop trail, starting at Picnic Lake is a lovely 2 mile somewhat hilly trail. Heartland Chapter & Tenoroc have rebuilt 2 bridges on this Blue trail. Come join us & see our handywork!

We will leave promptly at 8:00 to get back in time for the chapter meeting. Please allow plenty of time to get through the Welcome Center.

Don't forget water, bug repellent and good shoes. Possibly hiking poles as the trail is hilly.

I will give a list of attendees to the check-in station. Please let them know you are hiking with us, the FTA. Give your name & they will check you off, Then go straight to Picnic Lake to check in with the hike leader. I will give my list to the check-in station attendant at 7:15. You must be signed up on Meetup to attend. I will start sign in at Picnic Lake 7:30am.

If you come on your own there is a $ 3.00 entrance fee.
