Reyes and Haddock Peaks, Geo-hike along the Pine Mountain Ridge

Details
Geo-hike to Reyes Peak (7517 feet/2291 m), on to Haddock Peak (7439 ft / 2267 m), return, all along the Pine Mountain Ridge antiform. I'll say a few things about the geology along the route. This is a beautiful pine-tree-topped ridge and the closest alpine-like location to Ventura and Ojai.
Below are hike stats from Brian Richardsson
https://www.peakbagger.com/climber/ascent.aspx?aid=1928281
Total roundtrip is 5.7 mi / 9.2 km,
elevation gain is 1179 ft /358 m
elevation loss is 1029 ft / 313 m
Hike pace will be about two miles/hour and we will make several stops: at the top of Reyes and Haddock Peaks, lunch and view stops. This not an extreme hike but it's not that easy either, you do need to be in good hiking shape.
Bring plenty of water, day pack, snacks and lunch, hat, sun block. Could be warm by the late morning and windy at the top. Check the weather before the hike. A cellphone is always a good idea but the coverage is poor and spotty on this trail along the ridge.
Meet at the Reyes Peak Trailhead Parking (34.634793, -119.292809), it is 7 miles east of Hwy 33 at the end of the paved Pine Mountain Summit Road (6N06); note: the last ~half mile is a dirt road but suitable for passenger cars if you drive slowly. Parking area may require an Adventure Pass, Golden/Senior Pass, etc. (this is not clear to me, I do have pass for my truck). Cell coverage at the parking area almost never works and very spotty above Ojai.
