We are a foster based volunteer organization that partners with the community to save more animals and achieve a No Kill Community! We are always seeking volunteers to promote our organization and assist with its programs.

Tell your furr-iends and mark your calendars! HSLC is back at Spanky's for Yappy Hour on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 until October. We’ll have a table set-up outside in the back to answer questions and sell merchandise! And, back by PUP-ular demand, our 50/50 raffle will run through October at which time two lucky winners will be announced! Spanky's is generously donating 10% of food sales to HSLC so be sure to come hungry!

Get ready for the 6th year of One Loudoun’s signature pet event event! The Halloween Bark Bash at One Loudoun is an outdoor, Halloween-themed festival, bringing together local pet-focused businesses, animal rescue groups, and pet owners for an exciting day of trick or treating, adoptable dogs, music, costumes, and animals galore. We will be collecting donations to help the families of pets and animals in need. Please bring your unexpired adult dog and cat food donations to our tent at the Bark Bash event. Thank you!
