MEETING THE ENEMY A feminist comes to terms with the Men’s Rights movement

Join us this Sunday, either in person or online, as we look further into discrimination and privilege in the relations between the sexes.

The first video, Sex Discrimination: Crash Course Government and Politics #30 shows the efforts to promote gender equality through political action.

Crash Course is a YouTube channel started in 2011 by John Green and Hank Green, who believe that high quality educational videos should be available to everyone for free. The second video is MEETING THE ENEMY A feminist comes to terms with the Men’s Rights movement. In it, Cassie Jaye describes reviewing her taped interviews for a documentary on the men’s rights movement showed her the importance of really listening to those you disagree with and leaving one’s pre-judgements.

The last video is I’ve lived as a man & a woman — here’s what I learned. Paula Stone Williams is a transgender woman who talks about what she hadn’t known about being a woman and what she hadn’t known about being a man before her transition.
