Library Discovery Garden Workday

Fall is here and we need to start putting the garden to bed.
We will be breaking down the huge sunflowers and incorporating them into the landscape and also wild-sowing native/pollinator/cover crop seeds to begin establishing themselves for next season, and perhaps other tasks as needed.
Wear long sleeves (the sunflowers are very prickly) and bring gloves and loppers or pruners if you have them.
The garden is located at 5th Street and Chipeta Avenue, a block from the main branch of Mesa County Library.
