Humanist Discovery (Earth Day Edition) - Sustainability Ethics

Perfect timing for Earth Day!!
THIS EVENT:
We are starting off strong with a short presentation and Q&A with the City of Flagstaff Sustainability Department, as well as other special guests. We will learn about sustainability efforts at the City, including the process of developing a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, and some of the more complicated ethical questions that arise in that effort. We will also hear about the efforts in other cities and organizations.

This is the inaugural event in a series. We are excited to work with the Beacon Unitarian Universalists to host this new and unique event. We will explore the ethical foundation and moral drivers of pressing issues and important ideas in the context of Secular Humanism. If you don't know what that means, you might want to come check out one of our events! The presentations/discussions will be every 4th Sunday at 4:30PM at Beacon's beautiful building.

Childcare will be provided and we will be done in time to get you home for dinner and early bed-times to start your week off right
