Nature has a poetic way of making us turn the "stress volume" down, doesn't it? Yet, we keep postponing encounters with it that could help us deal with the daily noise.

As September begins, coming back from the holidays might be another stressful layer to add on top of "the cake"; that's why we have created this 1st SOCIAL EXPERIMENT!

For a few hours, we'll step away from our screens and "back-to-routine" mindset,
walk through the Lake Park in Málaga, and use the landscape around us as a prompt to explore something much more interesting: our connection with nature.

We'll explore Nature Journaling. This isn't a writing class. And you don't need to consider yourself a writer, a mindfulness lover, or even someone who enjoys journaling.

Instead, we'll use storytelling, observation, and playful prompts to turn a walk into a small SOCIAL EXPERIMENT: What happens when we look at the world differently—and what does that reveal about the way we see ourselves?

You might discover something about yourself, about someone else, or you might simply spend an afternoon noticing things you usually walk past.
There is no right way to do it!

What you will experience

  • A gentle guided walk through La Laguna Park
  • Storytelling and journaling prompts inspired by your surroundings
  • Playful exercises to explore perception, memory, and identity
  • Moments of individual reflection
  • Opportunities for conversation and connection with other local-outsiders
  • A few stories, questions, or practices you can take home with you

Who is this for?
This gathering is for curious humans who enjoy looking at ordinary things in extraordinary ways.

You don't need to be a writer or have any previous journaling experience.

Come if you're interested in storytelling, self-discovery, nature, philosophy, creativity, culture, or simply meeting people who think small talk is not enough.

And especially if you're one of those people who has an insane curiosity and is looking for a community of local-outsiders!

What to expect

  • A relaxed walk of approximately 1'5km, with several stops along the way for observation, storytelling, and journaling.
  • We'll alternate between walking, noticing, writing, sharing, and simply being
  • Bring comfortable shoes and water
  • You are welcome to bring your own journal, although materials will be provided
  • The official language of this community is Spanglish (or llanito as we call it in the south 🥰); we might shift from English to Spanish at any time.

Watch here the vibe of this place!

There is no pressure to share anything personal. You decide what you write, what you share, and how much you participate.
The aim isn't to produce beautiful writing.
The aim is to become more curious about your thinking process: the stories and narratives that a relaxing environment evokes in you.
Spaces are limited to 10 participants to keep the experience intimate and allow everyone the opportunity to connect.

Where to meet
Parque La Laguna at 19'00h.
Full details will be provided after confirmation in the WhatsApp group.
