Upcoming events (4+)
See all- 6pm. February 24th. Entering The Town Of Blue Lake. Twin Peaks Day Hang Out!The logger bar , Blue Lake, CA
It's Twin Peaks Day- join us after work in Blue Lake! We'll take a one hour-ish hopefully spooky sundown walk along the river where we will enjoy the trees, and keep an eye out for owls before heading back to The Logger Bar for drinks in a historical logging themed bar.
Menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
We'll meet outside the Logger Bar at 6pm and walk from there. If you're running late you can meet us back at the bar around 7, or catch up to us. We'll be doing the Hatchery Road to Powers Creek to Mad River Levee route, then back up the road to The Logger Bar. Walk the route in reverse to find us!
- Humboldt Bay Trail Hike And Patio BREAKFAST At Gill's By The Bay!Herrick Avenue Park & Ride, Eureka, CA
Join us for a gorgeous hour long walk along the Humboldt Bay Trail to King Salmon, where we'll have BREAKFAST at on the patio at Gill's By The Bay. Our flat route will take us along the paved Bay trail, section a bit of the old railroad, loop behind King Salmon and back again, for a total of 4-5 miles, depending on what we stop and look at.
I'll post photos of the most recent breakfast menu below. Daily specials as well. Check Facebook for up to date menu info before we head out!
Bring a hat and wear sturdy shoes that you don't care too much about. The rocks along the railroad tracks tend to chew up soles.
To ensure we get a table we're taking a small group. They'll likely put us on one bill for this, so cash is helpful.
We'll be eating outdoors on the patio so no dogs for this one.
Pics of the trail will be posted in the photos below.
Please meet at the Herrick Avenue Park and Ride at 12:20.
