Hike The Hammond: Hiller Park to Mad River Vista Point. Optional Lunch + Drinks

Join us in McKinleyville for an easy out-and-back five mile hike with ocean views. We'll start at Hiller Park in McKinleyville and walk to the Mad River Vista Point. This trail is mostly flat, a mix of pavement, dirt and gravel with one short stretch of elevation change at the creek. This will be a leisurely hike with 20 minute miles, gorgeous views, and lots to see. I'll post a picture of the meeting place and parking lot in the pictures. Leashed dogs welcomed with extra hugs.

There is a dedicated parking lot at Hiller Park but it can fill up, so give yourself plenty of time to park. Bathrooms are located here as well.

Anyone who wants to is welcome to join us for lunch and or drinks afterwards, likely on the Six Rivers Brewery Patio.
