Super Fun No XP Needed Barn Dance In Arcata! Way More Fun Than 6th Grade!

Come join us at the Arcata Vetran's Hall for the Folklife Society Barn Dance! Live music by the Cidermill Band, with calling (easy-to-follow instructions) by Lyndsey Battle. These dances are SO MUCH FUN and you do NOT have to know anything! You'll be standing in a circle with seven new friends (if we get 16 people we can create two groups of 8) and following simple instructions while laughing your donkey off. If you can clap or tell your right from your left you're ahead of the game. The instructions come slowly at the beginning and we'll all be figuring it out together! This is an all-ages, super laid back event. The dance will last three hours, come any time, and participate when you want to. There are chairs bordering the hall if you don't want to dance, or want to take a break.

The dance starts at 7pm. I'll get there early, grab a few chairs for coat and post our location in the event comments.

The barn dance is $15.00 at the door, cash is always helpful. Bring water and dress up for MORE FUN!
