LADIES- WE MOVED THIS DATE TO APRIL 11TH when we realized we posted on Easter Weekend!
Here’s the scoop on our upcoming adventure:
The tour will take us on a fun 1 1/2-hour walk and some standing.
The entrance fee is $26, which includes the tour. The tour starts at 11:00 a.m. and will last 1 1/2 hours.
We’ll be carpooling, but you can also drive if you prefer. If you’re carpooling, please give the driver a $5 tip.
Our destination is the “rescue” facility in Pittsboro, NC, which is about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Huntersville. We’ll leave at 8:00 a.m. and aim to arrive back home around 3 or later.
Don’t forget to bring a picnic lunch! We’ll have a lovely lunch in the picnic area right here on the premises. Jackie’s bringing a cooler, so we can all put our food in her cooler. We’ll have a bit of an early lunch (before the 11:00 a.m. tour). After the tour, we’ll head back home.
And guess what? There’s a cute gift shop we can browse through while we’re there.
