Do you need to get out of your home office and have some human interaction once in a while? This Meetup is all about coworking with other Huntsville women who work remotely!
The purpose of this meetup is to independently work together with others who work from home. This includes remote workers, digital nomads, freelancers, creatives, entrepreneurs, small business owners, etc!
Who is this meetup for?
Ladies who have work to do by themselves, but still want to be in community with others while they do it. Gender nonconforming people are also welcome at our events and in our community. Use this group to make a new friend, find a coworking bud, or just drop in one time if you're feeling like getting out of the house.
How does it work?
We will meet together, maybe at a library or coffee shop around Rocket City (host preference!) to cowork and get to know each other. We generally meet for a few hours during business hours. Basically, like you would if you went into a company office setting-- we're there mainly to work, but there's people around and we can take breaks to chitchat.
What if I can no longer make it?
We've all got busy schedules, so please make sure that if you RSVP you are planning to attend! If your schedule changes, please let the event host know. No shows may be removed from the group.
GROUP RULES
- Come with something to work on. You'll get the most out of the Meetup if you come prepared with something to do. This is not restricted to a laptop – it can be sketching, drafting a book, or whatever it is that you are working on!
- Be Kind and Courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Please be kind to everyone at each Meetup. Let's treat everyone with respect. Let's also leave whatever location we are meeting at just as nice as we found it.
- Respect diversity. Degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, politics, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be welcome. In a polarized world, let's be a haven of tolerance.
- No solicitation. We encourage you to network, but please do not bring product samples or recruitment pitches to Meetups.

Welcome to the Huntsville chapter of Ladies Work Remote!
For Friday's coworking, we will meet at the North Huntsville Library, in the Study Room (there's only one, room 126). It's a glass room behind the YA (Young Adult) section. There is room for ten people, so welcome, everyone!
(If the spots are filled, add yourself to the wait list, and you will automatically be approved if someone drops out.)An extension cord / power strip will probably be useful if someone wants to bring one.
We may stick around after 3pm if folks are interested, and continue working at the library or elsewhere. You can also explore the North Huntsville library's awesome makerspace.

Welcome to the Huntsville chapter of Ladies Work Remote.
For Thursday's coworking, we will meet at the Madison Library, in Study Room 1, the larger of the two study rooms on the outside window side. There is room for seven people, so please RSVP and keep your RSVP current. If the spots are filled, add yourself to the wait list, and you will automatically be approved if someone drops out.
Food is allowed at the library, so it might be fun to bring snacks to share! Also note-- because of the sunlight, the room has been warm in the afternoon, so dress cool with outer layers that you can remove.
We may stick around after 1pm if folks are interested, and continue working at the library or elsewhere. You can also explore the Madison library's makerspace and garden.
