A psycho-educational, body awareness, and free-form movement class to learn how to reconnect with the body and let go of subconsciously stored emotions contributing to dysregulated nervous states (fight, flight, and freeze response) which contribute to anxiety, depression, procrastination, and generally feeling “stuck”. This class draws principles from polyvagal theory, somatic psychology, mindfulness, breath-work, and kundalini yoga.
This offering is an experiential framework for participants to explore the language of the body and understand how to contact and release stored tension from chronic stress, trauma, anxiety, depression.
OPEN TO ALL LEVELS AND BODIES.
This class prioritizes slow, mindful movement and free form movement and dance. The class emphasizes self- attunement over performance.
