Hunter & SW Hunter loop via Becker Hollow, option for Plateau out & back

Meet at Notch Lake at 8:30 carpool 2 minutes to Becker Hollow trail head both locations are on State Road 214, we will take the Becker Hollow trail up to Hunter Mountain summit (elev. 4045). Then we will take the Spruceton Trail to the Hunter Mountain Trail to Devils Path, but stopping at Devils Acre Lean-to for lunch. We will continue on Devils path to SW Hunter Mountain, which is an out and back spur. We will then continue on Devils Path to descend the steep trail into Notch Lake. Then we will continue to Plateau Mountain Summit then retrace our steps back to Notch Lake, then shuttle to Becker Hollow to pick up cars.

Lunch/Dinner after hike-optional.

Hike is approx 8 miles or 15 miles if you out and back Plateau.
Elevation is approx 2300 feet or 4400 feet depending if you hike Plateau'

Must be physically fit for this hike and getting regular cardio
Must have proper hiking gear and the 10 essentials of hiking.

These are 2 of the steepest trails in the Catskills

Weather is expected to be gorgeous.
