**2-Way Brewing has food and is close to the train station.

** Not recommended as a "first time" hike. The first mile is a steady, and strenuous uphill that some new hikers find very difficult. Hikers should not overestimate his/her abilities.

The Hike:
We start up the trail at 9am so please arrive earlier . The pace will be a moderate but steady 2.2-2.3mph. There will be several brief stops at viewpoints and a lunch/snack break at Lamb's Hill. On a clear day, we should have great views of the Hudson River and some places further away such as Minnewaska, Mohonk and the Catskill Mtns. ** There's no sweep so all hikers need to review the route and be able to navigate if going faster or slower than the main group.

Here's the route:
- Take the red Casino Trail one mile to site of former casino/hotel.
- Continue on red one mile to white trail.
- Turn right onto white. Take white several hundred yards to tower.
- Return back to red
- Continue on red to yellow.
- Left on yellow to blue.
- Left onto blue to dozer junction.
- Left onto white to Lamb’s Hill and continue to yellow.
- Left onto yellow to the red casino trail.
- Turn right onto red and back to cars.
