**Mondays rained-soaked snow may freeze overnight. Some hikers may be fine using microspikes while other may elect for snowshoes. We'll just have to see what the conditions call for once we are there.

The Hike: We will pass nice ponds, streams, old mines, etc., on this hike. Average pace of about 2mph in snow and ice conditions.

The route:
- Fron the AT parking lot, walk east along Rt. 301 to the AT entrance.
- Take the AT about 2.1 miles to Mine Rd.
- Turn right and take Mine Rd. about 1/2 mile.
- Turn right onto blue 3-Lakes Trail. Continue to Rt. 301.
- Turn left and walk 301 back to parking lot.

Difficulty: winter conditions; moderate, steady pace. Abounumerous, short ups and downs.
Distance: Approx. 5.2 miles
Map: NY-NJ Trail Conf. Map #103; Avenza mapping app or similar.
Gear: Foot traction (microspikes, snowshoes, etc.); moisture-wicking clothing for changing temps; water; snacks; poles may be helpful
