    Talk:
Exactly Once Semantics in Kafka Connect

    Abstract:
Exactly-Once Semantics (EOS) in Kafka Connect guarantees zero duplicates and zero data loss from source systems to Kafka, even during crashes or rebalances. It uses KIP-618's transactional producers, atomic offset commits, and zombie fencing to ensure every record is delivered precisely once — eliminating downstream deduplication complexity.
