Developer Advocate at Confluent, ex-AWS Data Analytics Specialist, ex-Google Cloud - Data platform specialist. Designed and implemented ‘Modern Data Platform’ for large scale enterprise use cases. Worked at the intersection of Data(Spark, Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, Redshift, Iceberg, Glue, Hive) and AI(pytorch,sagemaker,vertex ai,kubeflow, LLMs) at cloud scale (AWS and Google Cloud).

Kafka Broker Internals + Tuning configurations for Optimal performance

Abstract:
This session would discuss the Kafka Broker internals, various configuration parameters that would impact the broker performance and various JMX Metrics that can be monitored.

Bio:
Anji Narra has been working as a Technical Support Engineer with Confluent for 6 years and has helped several customers to tune their Kafka/Confluent Platform clusters for better performance. He was a performance Engineer prior to switching to Technical Support for more than a decade.
