I love Austin, but I need some f*****g friends!

I'm going to need your help declaring the winner for the April Digital Photo Contest. I have narrowed down to the top 10 pics, and only you...the people... can declare the winner.

Rules:

1. When submissions are closed, I will provide a video link that shows the top 10.
2. Vote for your top 3 favorite pics, and give them to me in order. (Ex: 8,7,3) You cannot repeat your picks like 5, 5, 5.
3. Please influence others to vote but DO NOT influence others on how to vote. My goal is to make this as unbiased as possible just like our U.S. voting processes have always been *cough*
4. You can submit your picks by either commenting on this page, or message me directly or email me if you want to keep it private.
5. You have until the end of the weekend in order to be counted.

Let's have a bar crawl! Let make it epic! There will be an itinerary so even latecomers and those lost in the shuffle won't be displaced for that long.

The start time is not a typo. The early time allows our group to really take over the space before it's taken over the hoard of body checkers and infinite bar line makers. Even those that typically hate huge crowds, or the bar scene will love an event like this because we are beating the system.

The theme for this event will be 70's Woodstock, and please don't make me feel like a huge nerd by being the only one dressing up! I would love to host another one the following month with a different theme.

Join us for a Stargazing Party in Pflugerville! The public is invited to look through telescopes and observe the night sky. We'll showcase celestial objects such as Jupiter, Mars, the half-moon, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and more.

Event Details:

• Location: Football field by the restroom/picnic table pavilion in the NW corner of the park, near parking lot B (see map in event photos).
• Cost: Free entry and participation.

What to Expect:

• Telescopic Views: Experience stunning views of planets and deep-sky objects.
• Refreshments: Drinks and snacks will be available. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks (no glass containers, please).
• Family-Friendly: This event is perfect for all ages. However, please do not bring dogs, unless they are service animals, as we prefer not to have dogs around the telescopes in the dark.

Tips for Attendees:

• Lighting: A flashlight with a red bulb is recommended. We will provide red cellophane to cover white lights if needed.
• Smoking: Smoking is not permitted near the telescopes to protect the optical equipment.
• Weather Updates: If the weather seems questionable, call the City of Pflugerville Parks and Recreation department for updates, I will also be calling to confirm if weather looks questionable.
• Phones: Keep your phones off or better yet in the car.

Join us for an unforgettable night under the stars!
Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as well as snacks! Please no glass containers and no alcohol. There is plenty of room we can setup and have a community area to be social away from the telescopes and create connections. Look for the Red Glowstick party!
Pflugerville parks and rec does a great job of lighting the path and use of signage. It's a quick walk from the parking lot. Additional parking is also available in parking lot A, it just will result in a long walk for those that cannot make it on time. (Please see map)
