What we’re about
Welcome fellow walker :-)
Join us on a walking journey to all parts of Singapore.
We have regular walks every Thursday and alternate Sunday afternoons.
Each week we venture to a different part of the island. We cover all parts of Singapore in our walks - there is never a dull moment!
We have also been featured in the Straits Times: (https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/steps-and-the-city-how-the-walking-trend-is-making-strides-in-singapore)
I invite you to come for the adventure and stay for the company.
Ethan

Meet: Chinatown MRT Exit C (Street level)
When: Sunday 10th August 5 pm**This is a Rain or Shine event. Please take a good lunch or bring along some snacks if you feel hungry along the way. Our walks are usually between 8 - 12 km long. Just so you know, the weather may be hot but as the sun sets, the weather should be cooler.
Please be punctual. You are encouraged to be slightly early to avoid disappointments. There will be 5 minutes grace for attendance taking. Please remember that we cannot wait because this would be unfair to those already present.
This Meetup group is led by a community of volunteers. Please extend grace in areas of inadequacy. You are most welcome to give constructive feedback; we strive for improvement!
Let's explore our city area :-) We will meet at 5 pm, have an early dinner at the Chinatown Hawker Centre, and start the walk.
Pearl's Hill City Park is a 9 hectares city park in Singapore built around a reservoir on top of Pearl's Hill. It is also the start of the "pipeline trail".
After, you can walk along the park connectors and explore the areas around Tanjong Pagar. We will try to go "underground" and follow the passageways to end at Raffles Place MRT!
See you there! :-)

Let's walk around the Marina Reservoir and up the Benjamin Sheares Bridge!
The Benjamin Sheares Bridge (Chinese: 薛尔思桥; pinyin: Xūeěrsī Qíao; Malay: Jambatan Benjamin Sheares; Tamil: பென்ஜமின் ஷியர்ஸ் பாலம்) is the longest bridge in Singapore, spanning 1.8 km, and the tallest, at 29 metres (95 ft). It is named after Benjamin Sheares, the second President of Singapore, who died four months before the bridge was opened to the public on 26 September 1981.[2]
