We are heading to Union Square! Join JBF Greens for modern Indian cuisine at GupShup in Gramercy. For Indian-born proprietor Jimmy Rizvi, the restaurant fulfills his lifelong dream of opening a Bombay-inspired concept-visually, GupShup pays homage to 1970's Bombay mansions with a two-story wall of tiffins and vibrant life-sized murals. Rizvi is also the owner of Ammi, one of the featured vendors at Pier 57's Market Hall with the James Beard Foundation. For the occasion, head chef Zahir Khan will create a multi-course family-style feast that melds modern cooking techniques with traditional influences seer in Indian households.

GupShup is like stepping foot inside 1970s Bombay, with all the swank and chatter. But it’s what’s on the plates that deserves the attention. Chef Gurpreet Singh (from New Delhi’s acclaimed Indian Accent) presents modern Indian dishes unlike anything you’d expect — order the paneer cheese rolls if you know what’s good for you — while also rendering the classics beautifully. Simply put: This remains one of the city's most exciting destinations for Indian food.

Currently Ranked #17 in the 🌎, Indian Accent, New Delhi is ranked as the #22 Restaurant in Asia by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. It has been awarded the San Pellegrino ‘Best Restaurant in India’ by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for seven consecutive years (from 2015-2021). The restaurant has also been rated as the ‘No.1 Restaurant in India’ by TripAdvisor consistently from 2014 – 2019. Bummer the one in NYC closed as it was Amazeballs! Please be ON TIME!!! 😊
