We are heading to East Village! I remember when Chef Yang helmed Ddo Bar @ Olly Olly Market and had great food! Sono is a first of its kind Korean-Italian Trattoria. The brainchild of Chef Sechul Yang whose rรฉsumรฉ includes some of NYCโ€™s most celebrated kitchens, including Gramercy Tavern, Oiji Mi, Maialino and, most recently, Ddobar.

Meaning โ€œI amโ€ in Italian, Sono is rooted in his Korean upbringing and shaped by years spent cooking in Italian kitchens. Our menu follows the framework of a classic Italian trattoria, with handmade pastas and shared plates, subtly infused with Korean ingredients and sensibilities that reflect the cultural overlap between the two cuisines. Please be ON TIME! ๐Ÿ˜Š
