We are heading to JBF Platform! We Love Theodora!!! Two of New York’s most compelling culinary voices are coming together for a one-night-only dinner: chef Tomer Blechman of Brooklyn’s Theodora and James Beard Award seminfinalist® Efrén Hernández of the Hudson Valley’s Casa Susanna.
Known for its live-fire Mediterranean cooking, seafood, and housemade sourdough breads, Blechman has made his Michelin-recommended Fort Greene restaurant one of the city's most sought-after tables. While Hernández has earned well deserved national acclaim at Casa Susanna, despite being more than 100 miles north of New York City. In 2024, the restaurant landed on Esquire’s “Best New Restaurants” list, which praised Hernández’s hyper-seasonal homage to regional Mexican heritage and heirloom corn.
Together, Blechman and Hernández blend their shared affinity for bright flavors and meticulous sourcing into this special, one-night-only menu.
