Sketch Basics Intensive

Reserve a seat at the upcoming Sketch workshop that will be a continuation of our well received "UX Prototyping App Bootcamp" from April.

We will do on-site registration that day as the fee will be $125.

Our general agenda will include a deeper (basic to intermediate level) dive into the basics of Sketch, plugins, and Prototyping.

Introduction & History of Sketch app and which companies use sketch

10:30 am to 11:30 am
Basic tools and menus
11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Exercise # 1 - Making a button system - Learning about Symbols and styles.

===30 minute break===

1:00 pm to 2:45 pm
Exercise # 2 - Making a responsive HTML5 web app - Learning the process and design of a website: sitemap, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts and templates, learning how to use auto-layout plugin.

==15 minute break===

3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Final exercise - prototype your design - Learn how to use Invision app and it works in combination with Sketch.

During the workshop, we will develop a custom website from scratch. We will go through all of the necessary "magic" to have a functional high level prototype on inVision.

Topics we'll cover are:

• Toolbar, navigator, inspector, pages, layers and more

• Symbols and styles

• Templates

• Plug-ins, how to install and use them

• Exporting Low level and high level prototypes

• Sketch mirror, InVision and if we have time Zepplin

After the end of the workshop, you should be be able to create wireframes, websites, cool interfaces etc and able to have functional high level prototypes.
