In this experiential session participants will be introduced to the world of Creative Facilitation. Participants will learn a practical approach for using arts facilitation to boost community bonding, increase group participation and deepen learning. No arts experience required!

Creative Facilitation is based on the Creative Empowerment Model which combines Experiential Learning, Group Facilitation and Arts-Based Practice into a framework for designing and learning transformative programs for youth and adults. Participants develop self-confidence, motivation, social and emotional competence, and leadership - proven predictors of well-being.

Who is it for? Facilitators, youth workers, teachers, programme leaders and social change makers.

The Creative Empowerment Model was developed by PYE - Partners for Youth Empowerment. http://www.partnersforyouth.org

The session will be led by Christopher Malapitan

Time wise - Those of you interested to start with some food or a drink, can meet from 18:00 onwards. The workshop itself will be from 19:00-20:30, and from 20.30 there will be more time for debriefing and socialising.
