Charting Your Facilitation Journey: A Skills Roadmap for Growth

Details
Where do you want your facilitation practice to be one year from now? Five years from now? And what’s the best route to get there?
In this engaging and practical 90-minute session, we’ll use the IAF Core Competencies — the globally recognised standards for professional facilitators — as our guide to help you:
- Identify your facilitation strengths and blind spots
- Understand the six key competency areas for facilitators worldwide
- Explore practical ways to grow your skills: from practice opportunities to peer learning, training, and mentoring
- See how certification (e.g. that available through IAF) fits into your journey (and whether it’s the right move for you)
- Hear real-world insights from an experienced facilitator and trainer of facilitators — including tips for navigating your own journey
- Create a clear, personal action plan you can start using immediately
You’ll leave with a map of your development priorities, a list of proven resources, and at least one concrete step you can take this month to move closer to your facilitation destination.
This session will be lead by our Chapter co-founder and CPF Emeritus Nathaniel Cadwell. Nathaniel is a veteran coach, trainer, SCRUM Master, and consultant who excels at elevating creative teams by helping them discover better ways of working together.
