IANDS Maui supports Near-Death Experiencers, (NDE'rs) those that have had other Spiritually Transformative Experiences, their loved ones, and all interested others in a safe non-judgmental environment. We are part of Hawaiian IANDS and an affiliated group of International Association for Near-Death Studies. (IANDS)
IANDS Maui's mission is to share the hope and wisdom of Near-Death Experiences, (NDE's) other Spiritually Transformative Experiences with each other and the local community and to give others the gift of understanding that we continue to exist beyond death.
Spiritually Transformative Experiences include, but are not limited to the following:

We offer a safe place for experiencers to come and tell their stories, as well as offer education about near-death experiences.
We host a variety of meetings with inspiring speakers, fascinating video screenings, intimate sharing groups, and discussions with experiencers.

We meet on the Third Tuesday of every month at 3:00 pm HST

š Best known as the producer of the Academy AwardĀ®-winning What Dreams May Come starring Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr., and the beloved classic Somewhere in Time starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, Stephen has spent much of his career bringing stories of love, destiny, soul connections, and life beyond death to the screen.
Yet Stephen's most profound story unfolded not in Hollywoodābut in his own life.
Following the unexpected passing of his beloved wife Lauren in 2018, Stephen experienced devastating grief and heartbreak. Then, just weeks after her transition, something remarkable began to happen. Stephen began receiving what he believes were genuine communications from Lauren from beyond the veil.
What started as subtle impressions and intuitive messages evolved into an ongoing relationship that transformed his understanding of love, loss, consciousness, and the afterlife.

For nearly 50 years, Stephen Simon has been one of Hollywood's most respected producers, directors, executives, and authors.He is best known as the producer of the Academy AwardĀ®-winning What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr.), the timeless romantic fantasy Somewhere in Time (Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour), and All the Right Moves (Tom Cruise).
His extensive career also includes serving as co-executive producer on the fan favorites Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, starring Keanu Reeves, producing She's Out of Control starring Tony Danza, executive producing Body of Evidence starring Madonna, and producing Quantum Project, the first original feature film to premiere on the Internet.
Stephen was also an executive producer on Linda McCartney for CBS Television and received an Emmy Award nomination as one of the executive producers of Homeless to Harvard.
š¬ As a studio executive, Stephen supervised productions including Smokey and the Bandit and The Electric Horseman, while serving as Head of Production for the film companies of legendary producers Ray Stark (Funny Girl, The Way We Were, The Goodbye Girl) and Dino De Laurentiis (Serpico, Three Days of the Condor, La Strada).
āØ Stephen also directed and produced the spiritually inspired films Indigo and Conversations with God, and co-founded the internationally successful Spiritual Cinema Circle, which introduced uplifting and consciousness-expanding films to audiences around the world for more than sixteen years.
