As scientists and engineers, we often live and think in the future. Part of our work is closing the gap between what’s possible tomorrow and what’s usable today, and quantum computing is one of the fields where that gap is most exciting. With fault-tolerant quantum computers on the horizon, new algorithms and applications are emerging across domains such as drug discovery, optimization, materials science, finance, and cryptography.
On 22 August 2025, at Deep Learning Indaba in Kigali, Rwanda, we’ll host the #QML4Africa Workshop, a half-day dive into quantum computing and quantum machine learning, designed for Africa’s next generation of innovators.
