Valley View Segment - Ice Age Trail

This will be 3-5 mile hike on the Valley View Segment! We’ll hike 3 miles out and back going through Valley View preserve to where trail comes out on Timber Lane. There will be an optional out and back for another 2 miles to Midtown Rd, which will include new trail that eliminated a small road walk on this portion of segment.

Valley View is a hidden gem portion of the Ice Age Trail. This large conservancy was donated to the Ice Age Trail Alliance and hosts a section of trail along with a number of side trails through restored prairie and views west to Blue Mounds.

Trail is moderate difficulty with a number of hills.

We'll meet at the kiosk off Moraine Ridge Rd. The lot is small, but there is street parking available. Please be respectful for the neighbors when parking.
