September is Suicide Awareness month ๐Ÿ–ค but the walk this year will be the first week of October!

Whether or not you know someone who has struggled/lost their battle, or you yourself has struggled; we can all agree that people have value and should not feel alone. ๐Ÿ––

We will meet by the stage around 9:30 a.m., walk doesn't start til 10:00ish, so that gives people time to park and look around.

Look for the Space Hat ๐Ÿ‘ฝ

Please consider joining us (you can register as a virtual walker if you can't physically make it). The walk is FREE - no required registration costs!

Team Name is: ;
Yes, literally the team name is a semicolon! This is the same name as last year. Semicolons mean a lot to this mission: "The semicolon suicide awareness movement, known as Project Semicolon, uses the punctuation mark as a symbol of hope and strength for individuals struggling with mental health issues, addiction, or suicidal thoughts. A semicolon is used by an author to continue a sentence that could have ended, and the movement applies this to life, symbolizing the choice to continue one's own story rather than end it prematurely." ๐Ÿ’œ
