This isn’t just another wine meetup. It’s a full-on English wine intervention.

Our events bring together medal-winning vineyards and standout producers from across England, pouring wines that are rewriting the rules of what English wine can be. Think world-class sparkling, crisp game-changing whites, smooth and juicy rosés, characterful reds, and the occasional eye-opening surprise.

Each tasting is designed to be informal, welcoming and packed with discovery. You’ll sip your way around the room at your own pace, chatting directly with the winemakers and owners behind the bottles. No reps. No PR scripts. No middlemen. Just proper wine, poured by the people who make it.
IEWA has been running the Independent English Wine Awards for over a decade, and these events are our way of bringing that world to life - connecting producers and drinkers in the same room, in the most atmospheric spaces we can find (including the historic vaulted cellars of Averys in Bristol).
The vibe? Informal. Buzzing. Mind-blown.

Fifteen medal-winning vineyards - all stars of 'The IEWA' (Independent English Wine Awards) - are coming together to pour their best stuff: world-class fizz, crisp game-changing whites, smooth and juicy rosés, characterful reds, even tasty eye-opening orange wines.
Sip and sample your way around the room at your leisure, chatting to passionate, skilled winemakers from across England. This tasting has wines to suit all tastes so invite your friends for a fun and informative session not to be missed.
We've been running our English wine comp for 10 years... and finally in 2025 we held a public event for our community! And it went really well, so we’re bringing it back - twice - in 2026.
And they’re not sending reps or PRs. Taste your way around the room with the owners and winemakers themselves - the people behind the bottles, present and pouring, chatting and telling their stories. No middlemen, no fluff. Just you, your glass, and the makers of some of the most exciting wines in the country.
