What we're about

Books introduce us to so many new ideas and new ways of looking at things. Talking about what we read will only open our eyes to so much more. Let’s explore a variety of books covering topics all over the spectrum, books new and old, for a variety of ages. We’ll read books that make an impression, and discuss all aspects of the stories, how they apply to life, the purpose they serve. Let’s have fun with this group, laugh, share ideas, and learn something new. This group is open to all; please join us with an open-mind and be ready to share your thoughts!

We are normally a meet-in-person book club group, currently holding virtual discussions to keep us all safe. We read a different (predetermined) genre each month to appeal to a more dynamic group of readers and to give us a variety of reading material to experience and discuss. When you join, you have a one month trial to catch a book club discussion and try us out. After that, a small "dues" fee is collected (good for one year) to help us maintain our virtual presence on Meetup.com. We can also be found on Goodreads.com (by the same name) where we have virtual bookshelves for all the genres we read. Please take some time to look at some of the books we've read (on here or on Goodreads) and also some of the books on our "to-read" bookshelves and feel free to suggest ideas of your own! If you have any questions about our group, please pass them my way!!
