We’re the Washington, D.C. chapter of the International Game Developers Association! As you may have guessed, we’re based in the DC-metro region, but are excited to meet friends from anywhere or any part of the games industry! Whether you’re a dev, student, educator, critic, or just plain interested, join in monthly meetings (typically on weekday evenings) and our working sessions (typically on weekends).

District Arcade 2026
Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G St NW, Washington, DC, USDistrict Arcade is a celebration of games and game makers from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Come out to this free and family-friendly event held in partnership with the D.C. Public Library. 30+ game developers will be showcasing their games for anyone to play. Held at the Metro accessible Martin Luther King Jr. library in downtown D.C., we welcome anyone interested in game development (and playing games!) to join the fun!
BONUS
We've teamed up with American University's Game Center, Labyrinth Puzzles and Games, and the D.C. Public Library to host a day of talks and workshops about building community through gaming.Friday, November 13

Online Elections + Year in Review meeting
·OnlineOnlineWe are holding our chapter elections for this year. 3 board seats are open, and some board members are not returning so there will be at least 1-2 fully open slots.
