What we’re about
The NC-Triangle Chapter of the International Game Developers Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the interests of game developers within the areas of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
The IGDA’s goals are to connect members with their peers, to promote professional development, and to advocate on issues that affect the game developer community.
Chapters provide local outreach, education, and advocacy to the local community through regularly scheduled meetings and events. By being connected with the main organization and other chapters, SIGs, and committees around the world, they are also linked to a global community that can help them keep their members on the forefront of trends in game development.
Join us for a night to dive into XR (AR: augmented reality, VR: virtual reality & MR: mixed reality) in Gaming!
We're excited to partner with our friends at AWE Nite NC Triangle and NCXR for a fun event, sponsored by Duke University's Master of Engineering in Game Design, Development and Innovation and Durham's own award-winning XR development agency CrossComm.
If you want to demo your game at the event, contact one of the event organizers.
Then we'll have a panel of XR folks to talk about their experiences with game design and the future of the XR industry.
We'll also have some bites to eat and provide some beverages! :)
We'll meet at The Bullpen @ American Underground, Durham's coworking community for innovators, creators, and changemakers.
The event is free and all are welcome, but there are limited spots so please register if you're going to go (and unregister later if you find you can't make it to free up a spot for others).
