This presentation will provide an opportunity for attendees to hear about the journey of the development team who created PMI’s Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide – Second Edition. The speaker will share the experience of working on the project, as well as the passion for BA which enabled the development team to overcome obstacles and deliver a product that makes an important contribution to the business analysis library.
In this webinar, hear why the conversation about business analysis needs to change and how that drove the development of The Practice Guide. Learn how the team endeavored to use a new format to create a Guide that is accessible and easy to understand for every project professional. The speaker will share how this document is intended to be used by BAs, PMs, team members, sponsors, and others to collaborate more and do better project work. This interactive session will invite everyone to the conversation throughout the webinar, as well as provide time for Q and A at the end.
At the conclusion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

Speaker Bio
Andrea Brockmeier, PMP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, IIBA-AAC, ECBA is the Director of Training for Watermark Learning, an Educate 360 brand. Andrea is an experienced trainer, facilitator, speaker, and project manager with over 25 years of business experience. Andrea contributes to certification and skills development curricula in project management, business analysis, agile, and leadership. She speaks at professional conferences and is an active volunteer, including as co-chair for Project Management Institute’s update to their Business Analysis Practice Guide, released in January of 2024. She enjoys practicing what she teaches and is passionate about creating pragmatic learning experiences that create better outcomes for students’ initiatives, teams, and organizations. Andrea approaches each professional engagement as an opportunity for everyone in the room to learn together.
