A Course in Miracles is a spiritual masterwork, an extraordinary mind-science of enlightenment designed to awaken the human mind; the sleeping Son of God. Its sole purpose is to restore to awareness the power and glory of the Self created in and by God in everlasting holiness and peace.
It aims to save time in the inevitable Self-realisation of the Eternal Truth. It trains the individual consciousness to accept the Guide who transforms perception and leads to direct knowledge of the Mind of Christ and reunion with the Creator.
The Course is founded upon the learning of the meaning of True Forgiveness as a means to restore to mind the perfect Love of God. True Forgiveness, in essence, constitutes the reversal of an individual’s cause and effect relationship with the world of perception. It teaches that the cause of all phenomena, our perceptions, our feelings and everything we experience in the world is not outside ourselves.

True forgiveness is a lesson found in all things and all situations. These lessons are convincing restatements of the inherent sinless nature of the mind, wherein its power and holiness are restored and the thought-system of the ego undone. This is the healing of the mind by accepting responsibility for causation within and opening the hidden altar where God’s peace and truth are found to abide untouched by time or circumstance.
“The miracle reminds you of a Cause forever present, perfectly untouched by time and interference. Never changed from what It is. And you are Its Effect, as changeless and as perfect as Itself. Its memory does not lie in the past, nor waits in the future. It is not revealed in miracles. They but remind you that It has not gone. When you forgive It for your sins, It will no longer be denied.” (A Course in Miracles, Text Chapter 28, Section 1)

A weekend group experience on the essential teachings, principles and practice of A Course in Miracles, in a joyfully focused healing sanctuary for awakening the awareness of the living Christ in you. With Simon Christopher in Ealing, West London.
Saturday & Sunday, November 1st & 2nd – 10:00am to 5:30pm daily.
The peace of God is our one goal, our purpose and function, the aim of all our efforts and the end we seek. God’s peace is already ours yet is veiled behind false beliefs which are cherished in its place. Now is the time in which we determine, through realisation, understanding and acceptance, that there is no peace to be found anywhere except we look within and lay down our defenses to the great peace that shines with perfect constancy within.
The obstacles to the knowledge of God’s peace are all overcome in the same way. We learn to see the obstacles for what they are as guardians against the Truth. A conscious decision can then be made to accept the Help we need to choose the conditions in which peace comes of itself because we have done nothing to keep it away.
“Deny me not the little gift I ask, when in exchange I lay before your feet the peace of God, and power to bring this peace to everyone who wanders in the world uncertain, lonely, and in constant fear.“ ACIM T.3.VIII.7
Peace is the condition in which knowledge of God is remembered. Therefore this is a course in choosing peace over and over in all temptations to feel upset, to attack or see oneself as attacked. Peace must be our choice because the choice against peace has already been established in the mind and now we choose again. First we remove the cause of conflict and upset, then the dream becomes free of upset. Peace and serenity, along with power and holiness become the experience while the dream still seems to have reality. Finally the dream becomes reality as illusions give way to truth. This is our journey without distance in our return to the state in which no illusions can appear that could be seen to stand before the light of Heaven and our eternal reality in God.
