Peace: The Final Frontier - with Simon Christopher

The peace of God is our one goal, our purpose and function, the aim of all our efforts and the end we seek. God’s peace is already ours yet is veiled behind false beliefs which are cherished in its place. Now is the time in which we determine, through realisation, understanding and acceptance, that there is no peace to be found anywhere except we look within and lay down our defenses to the great peace that shines with perfect constancy within.

The obstacles to the knowledge of God’s peace are all overcome in the same way. We learn to see the obstacles for what they are as guardians against the Truth. A conscious decision can then be made to accept the Help we need to choose the conditions in which peace comes of itself because we have done nothing to keep it away.

“Deny me not the little gift I ask, when in exchange I lay before your feet the peace of God, and power to bring this peace to everyone who wanders in the world uncertain, lonely, and in constant fear.“ ACIM T.3.VIII.7

Peace is the condition in which knowledge of God is remembered. Therefore this is a course in choosing peace over and over in all temptations to feel upset, to attack or see oneself as attacked. Peace must be our choice because the choice against peace has already been established in the mind and now we choose again. First we remove the cause of conflict and upset, then the dream becomes free of upset. Peace and serenity, along with power and holiness become the experience while the dream still seems to have reality. Finally the dream becomes reality as illusions give way to truth. This is our journey without distance in our return to the state in which no illusions can appear that could be seen to stand before the light of Heaven and our eternal reality in God.
