Impro Spring Taster
• What we'll do
Winter Taster - Sunday October 13, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, FREE to members of Impro ACT Meetup, (or for a fee of $30 to non-members or general public).
Two-hour introduction to improvisation with experienced Impro ACT tutor. If you’d just like a quick splash of spontaneity in your life, or you’d like to taste-test impro, before joining one of our regular weekly courses, Prepare To Be Unprepared (enrolling every quarter), why not try one of our popular Impro Tasters.
This workshop is designed by internationally touring improvisation teacher, Nick Byrne, so you’ll have a fun day of practical exercises and games that introduce you to the fundamental principles of improvised theatre, that you can use on stage or in everyday life, for confidence, communications and social skills.
Impro ACT provides a warm learning environment, and is an globally respected performing artist, working in 40 countries and counting.
If you like it, you might want to enrol in one of our short courses, one-night-per-week, to qualify to participate in shows, or simply to have a bright, positive moment in every week.
This Impro Taster will be held at Blank Creative, 15 Moore St, Canberra City (look for the synthetic grass and painted wooden tables on the sidewalk, but head inside in the warm on ground level).
