Improv drop-in workshop: with Rosey Waters!

Join us for an instructive and fun workshop with Rosey Waters!

Wednesday workshop April 1st 7pm at Louisville Underground: "Love your scene partner" with Rosey Waters.

Don’t make a fool of your scene partner, make them artists and heros, rock stars and geniuses!

Want to do a scene that doesn’t land in a dead end of arguing and tearing each other down?

In this workshop, we will work on how to sustain our scenes by embracing and honoring our scene partners.

Come play games where we endow our partners with gifts that make them look amazing and consequently you end up with a scene that is interesting and dynamic. With lots of reps, you will be able to practice using your creativity and playfulness to improvise a scene where you "love" your scene partner. You might even end up being an artist, a hero, a rock star or a genius!

Rosey Waters has been a professional actor for over 35 years and improvisor since 2018. Rosey is also a member of the documentary team, Alt Facts and performs improvised Shakespeare in Shake it Up Shakespeare! She is currently the director and an actor with Red Thread Playback Theater, an international online Playback Theatre company. Rosey has studied improv in Chicago including musical improv at io and long form at Second City and Annoyance Theatre.

This workshop will be held at The Louisville Underground (inside Tilt!, under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.
