Acting for Improv: Between Silence and Status
Behind every joke, there is scene.
Within every scene, there is status.
But where does status live?
This week, we're slowing down to discover status: from where it lives in the body, to the unspoken impact of silence and spacing.
Leanne is a writer, nerd, improvisor, actor and part-time sleep paralysis demon with a BFA in theater and a pocket full of dreams. You may know her from her nights standing at the edge of your bed with a malevolent grin. If not there, you might recognize her from her time with Hot Plunge going off the deep end, Alt-Facts inventing a documentary on the fly, or Life's a Bit's commitment to the... well., you get the picture.
This workshop will be held at The Louisville Underground (inside Tilt!, under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.
