The R in "CROW" is for Relationship
This workshop is all about slowing down, tuning into your scene partner, and letting real emotional connection do the heavy lifting. After some playful warm‑ups like Mirroring to get everyone synced up and You Look to practice noticing emotional shifts, we dig into how relationship is what actually makes a scene fun and alive. We talk about getting specific, trusting emotional truth over plot, and paying attention to status vibes. Then we jump into exercises like Gifting Relationships, Status Switch, and Helpful Walk‑Ons to put those ideas into action. We wrap with Relationship‑First Scenes where the goal is simple: connect, feel something, and let the scene grow from there.
Dal Houtz has taught Improv Boulder workshops several times. He brings a joyful, fun vibe and a lot of Improv knowledge.
This workshop will be held at The Louisville Underground (inside Tilt!, under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.
