Villain Ouvre workshop series with Jay Treat: 3 part series – 6/24. 7/22 and 9/2
Your improv teacher lied. Take off the training wheels and join the dark side. Unlearn the "rules" that served you once but no longer. Explore the murky boundaries between bad improv and great improv. A good villain knows what must be done, and doesn't care what the sheep think. So cast off your shackles, subvert expectations, and laugh like all your enemies are about to be buried in lava.

“Villain œuvre” = the collection of villain characters you tend to play, your personal villain repertoire.

June 24th workshop: Villain Ouvre: Ow Oh
In this workshop, we will examine the value of Yes And as well as its flaws, diving deep into the true mechanics of improv and a faster path to compelling scene work. Long live Ow, Oh!

Jay Treat has studied with Chaos Bloom, Second City, the Groundlings, UCB, and more. He performs with Not My Robot, the Uncommers, Portmantwo, JK, and more. He's writing an improv book.

This workshop will be held at The Louisville Underground (inside Tilt!, under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.
