Workshop - The Space Between with Jamie Gaffney, longtime improvisor and from the team Mouse Couch

"Show, dont tell" is a tenet of good scene work, but how can we leverage this on a naked improv stage? One of our biggest tools for non-verbal communication with our scene partners and the audience is the spatial relationship between characters. This workshop will focus on how we can use that spatial relationship to express emotion and reduce verbosity.

We'll focus on the intentionality of movement - using our movements to support our characters choices, to take us from invention to discovery, and to eliminate unconscious actions that contradict our words.
