Improv The Hague

Our new improv course is starting!

The new improv season is almost here, and I'm really looking forward to getting back on stage with you!
Our new course starts on Thursday, September 3, and we'll play every Thursday from 20:00 until 21:30.
Location will be Jupiterkade 8-A The Hague (streetparking possible, €3,50/hour)
We'll have 12 sessions in total, with no class on October 22 (Autumn Break). That means our final session will be on Thursday, November 26.

## This season: Scenework (De Vloer Op)

This autumn we're taking inspiration from the Dutch TV show De Vloer Op. Instead of focusing mainly on games, we'll dive into scenes that feel real, surprising and emotionally engaging.
Every lesson will have its own theme. We'll explore things like relationships, status, conflict, emotions, objectives, subtext and all the little details that make a scene come alive. You'll learn how to build scenes that are not only funny, but also believable and memorable.
I've noticed that the average level of the group has really grown over the last year. That's fantastic, and it gives us the opportunity to spend more time creating scenes with depth and strong characters.
That said: new players are absolutely welcome! We'll continue to work on the core improv principles throughout the course, so there's plenty of room to join. The themed classes make it easy for everyone to learn at their own level while still playing together.

## Course options


Haven't been to a class yet? The first class can be followed as a trial class, for €25,-. If you want to continue with the course, you can pay the additional fee.

Already know you'll miss several classes? Just let me know beforehand. If you expect to attend fewer than six sessions, we can convert the remaining value into credit for tickets, drinks or other activities instead.
I've introduced these packages to create a little more commitment. One of the best ways to improve at improv is simply by showing up consistently. It helps you build confidence, develop your skills, and create stronger connections with your fellow players.
Whether you've been improvising for years or you're just starting out, I'd love to have you there.
