Hiking the Shevlin Park Loop
Details
Let’s get outside and enjoy a relaxed group walk on the Shevlin Park Loop. We’ll walk at an easy, conversational pace and take in the forest, the creek, and whatever the season brings.
- Distance: about 3 miles
- Time: roughly 1.5 hours
- Terrain: dirt and gravel trail
- Elevation: some gentle ups and downs, but overall a fairly easy walk
The loop has a few short inclines, but nothing technical or intense. If you’re comfortable walking a few miles, you’ll be just fine.
Please bring:
- A bottle of water
- A small snack if you’d like
- Layers for changing weather
- Good walking or trail shoes
- Be prepared for mud, rain, or even a bit of snow depending on conditions. Yaktrax and walking poles are a good idea if things are slick.
This is about moving, breathing, and enjoying good company in a beautiful place. Hope you’ll join us!
